Pics...

Sod is done, gutters up, privacy fence added

We all have green doors...I have to follow up with the PM about this...each door should be different.  I really think maybe the guys screwed this up

My hardwoods!! I was so excited to see them along with the cabinets.

Dining area/hardwoods.

Looking down the foyer...I really like the hardwoods.

Kitchen...stove has not been added yet...and I really though it would be as it was part of a package.  Hopefully there's no screwup there.

  2. Hi Courtney, love love those espresso hardwood floors, not because I have them too. lol But just because they are such a beautiful color. I won't be able to reveal my floors until walkthrough because we are so locked out and the PM is not releasing the keys. I believe you are the first person I have seen that took the risk of combining the espresso floors with the espresso cabinets. I love it.

    1. Thanks, Nadase! Coming from a designer extraordinaire like yourself...it means a lot! I'm locked out as well... thankfully I was able to get these pics from the window peeking in. I was worried the color of the cabinets + the hardwoods might be too dark. But it's not..even if it was I really like the floors so it wouldn't have mattered anyway, lol.

    2. Thank you for the compliment Courtney, how sweet of you!!

Thats funny we will do whatever it takes to get those pictures. I have done the same on several occasions!! LOL

You may know that I have the two tone kitchen and the island is espresso and so are the hardwood floors. It really looks nice together. The goal is to bring in all three elements (light, medium and dark) and you can't go wrong. You have your medium with the granite countertop and your accessories, paint and furniture etc could bring in the light.

      LOVE YOUR KITCHEN!!

  3. I love the kitchen too! So what do you mean that you are locked out? After a certain point, they don't allow you to see your home?

    1. For me...once the process got to where the floors were installed and appliances were in the door was locked. But you can ask for the key from your sales rep or go by when your PM is there. By the time I left work the sales office had closed and to get in touch with my PM required leaving a message and waiting for a return call.
