Pics...

Sod is done, gutters up, privacy fence added

We all have green doors...I have to follow up with the PM about this...each door should be different.  I really think maybe the guys screwed this up

My hardwoods!! I was so excited to see them along with the cabinets.

Dining area/hardwoods.

Looking down the foyer...I really like the hardwoods.

Kitchen...stove has not been added yet...and I really though it would be as it was part of a package.  Hopefully there's no screwup there.

Interesting updates...

I received an email from my loan officer today advising me of a couple of things:

1). RH confirmed the townhouse will be ready for closing on January 15, 2013
2). Final appraisal can be done once construction and lanscaping are complete.  That's an addt'l $75-$100 added to my GFE (good faith estimate).
3).  I can now lock my rate as I am 28 days away from closing.  I can email my LO daily after 930 am EST to inquire about rates
4). Unfortunately, the bank is making me choose another settlement attorney.  I was going to use the atty that RH/NVR uses because I more than likely would have been able to get my keys the same day as closing.  Guess that's not happening...so back to finding someone suitable.

So, I guess I need to start packing and arranging movers, huh? Perhaps that can wait til after the holiday.

More updates...

Went by today on a whim.  Ran into my new neighbor who I am guessing has not been stalking her home like I have mine, lol.  Doors are officially locked :( but I'm gonna see if I can get in tomorrow and take some pics.  Ran in the the PM this afternoon as well...flooring/trim etc is in but final paint, landscaping, utility hook up etc will occur next week.  Pre-settlement walkthrough is Jan 10 (let's see if this holds true)...he mentioned a letter...but I haven't (nor my neighbor) received anything, maybe it'll come this week. Closing is now Jan 17 I believe - at least that's what the SR told my loan officer when she contacted me about locking in a rate (which I hopefully can do next week).

View from the window (so not used to not seeing everything up close and personal).

Progress Pics...

Stopped by this morning on the way to the gym and discovered a few surprises.  I am still going back by tomorrow, lol, because it's just habit and it's quiet.

Garage door installed...looks like they are ready to pour my drive and "walkway" and I'm guessing that ditch is for water? Maybe?

Opened the drawer...well, because I'm nosy and this was there

Granite countertops - Santa Cecilia

More Granite countertops - Santa Cecilia

And again... Granite countertops - Santa Cecilia

I can't remember if this is with or without the flash...but look at the difference btwn this pic and the next

I think this is with the flash maybe...idk...but such a difference in how it looks

well, hello there

Paint on my cabinets... :(

I didn't notice this til I was out of my kitchen area...yay! goodies!

And more goodies...the microwave

Yes...I took the cover off the microwave err...dishwasher to get a picture, lol.  Pretty and shiny :)

Well, well, well...what do we have here? Is this the trash can...I think not.

And more trash...

I had to remove the cover and take a pic of the sink...so pretty and shiny :)

closet in the foyer...I assume this is where my breaker box will be.  Looks like the shelving is up in all the closets...as you'll notice in the other pics :)

Half bath...not much to show...we have a towel rack and a toilet paper holder

Yes...another closet with a shelf...just a warning there are probably 3 or 4 more pics just like this :)

I never noticed these stuck on the window...

Railing is up and ready for stain

Sample of the flooring upstairs, it actually looks better in person than I remember

You'll notice a theme here...I opted for the silverish/nickle look...but I should have gone with bronze.  It's fine, b/c I can change it out a little at a time.  I'm happy with this

Fire alarm...maybe?

2nd bath..flooring installed

2nd room closet, it's so roomy...a little high though.  I was looking at closet units from IKEA...at some point I will invest in that option

Upstairs programmable thermostat..in the 2nd room...not the master or the hallway which is weird.  It's in a room that I will probably never go in

Yes...another closet.  I think there's one more pic of a closet.

Ahhh, the last closet pic

Master bath lighting...

Master bath celing fan

Coach lighting outside

Dining area lighting

Downstairs ceiling fan/light

1st floor thermostat

Someone forgot their hat...must've forgot that along with the trash

Window sills...all are installed but for some reason didn't notice until I walked back downstairs

Cabinets...

I am so glad my SR had me look at my cabinet choice again.  The cabinets are in...I think I originally chose maple spice (the standard) but then changed to espresso.  They look so good.  Can't wait to see everything together (cabinets, granite, wood floor).  Some of the drawers and doors weren't completely flush when they shut, so that's something that I'll have to bring up to my PM.  My bathroom cabinets are standard maple spice...but even they look nice.  Not sure how many of you visit Pinterest.  But since I downloaded the app on my phone, I'm a bit of a junkie.  Anyway, on pinterest I've found quite a few DIY projects that I can do one in particular is changing the color of those standard cabinets to match the kitchen cabinets.

Brick was done as well...it's so pretty.

And...I was --> ___ <-- close to diving in the dumpster to see if I could find anything that might be useful down the road.  But nothing.  They had the door knobs in my garage...I wished the box was open so I could maybe fiiiiiiind and extra set up keys to use once they lock everything.

My microwave is vented outside, wasn't sure how that whole set up was going to look but it's ok.

Playing around with the panoramic feature on my new phone...this is the best I could do :)
