It's a WRAP...

I said I wasn't going by today, but I did.  Thanks to DST it's dark at 515ish...so I rode by and no workers in sight.  That's ok though, house has been wrapped, windows and doors installed...things are looking good! Feeling so blessed right now!  There's one area of concern...maybe two that I will address during my pre-drywall meeting.  Part of the framing in the living space is cracked/splintered and then the some what curved piece in the garage.

On another note, tomorrow is Election Day...no matter what party you're affiliated with please go vote!  Hate to quote P.Diddy...but VOTE or DIE!

  1. It's so hard to not stop by every day, isn't it?! Looks like they've made good progress!

  2. I stop by at least twice a day (first in the morning to catch the early progress, second for completion of progress and the third time with my husband to capture the moment together. It supports me in so many ways (pictures for memories, understanding the bones of the house, catching any mishaps and most of all being a witness to our dream home built right before my eyes). I say drive by and keep driving by because these moments will you can never recapture. :-)

    1. Nadase, you're absolutely right, this is such an exciting time I should do everything I can to remember it...and keep an eye on things.

  3. Stop out as much as you can, any progress is worthy of a visit, it's your home, your baby, watch it grow!

    1. DW, going by and seeing progress is the best part, even when there was no progress I couldn't help but remain excited and optimistic about what was to come.
