BB&T required a pre-appraisal prior to approval of my loan and I found out today that it's been completed. My loan officer needs to review and will send a copy Monday, but I believe my information has moved to the next stage in this process...approval. I was told it should take a week and hopefully I'll have some good news to share and I'll move to the next step...pre-construction meeting.
On another note...3 weeks ago I was involved in a car accident. Thankfully I'm ok and the other driver was ok. The only thing I could focus on during the whole ordeal was how it would mess up my plans to build my own home. Through the grace of God my car had been paid off earlier this year, so for this to happen was devastating. I learned a lot about myself and my family since the accident. I learned that I don't have to be independent, that I do have folks I can count on, and that I need to spend more time with my family. They were there for me and I'm so thankful for them. Although my car was totaled by my insurance company, I was able to find another car...pay for it in full (with the help of my dad) and not miss a step...now that is truly a blessing and I am so thankful and grateful to God for everything. #blessed!
AMEN AND PRAISE THE LORD!!
ReplyDeleteYou can say that again Nadase! God is so good!
DeleteI was wondering what happened to you! Glad you are back and safe! It is a blessing and your dad is the greatest! We may be breaking ground around the same time. We are waiting for our contract to be ratified.
DeleteThanks! Glad to be back! I can't wait to break ground, hoping it will be mid to late August...is that about the time frame for you guys?
DeleteYes, it looks like the last week of August we may have our pre construction mtg and break ground first week of September.
DeleteNice, just in time to enjoy the holidays and your family in your new dream home. :)
